Our Print Products
We offer four types of Print products:
- Matted Prints – The Matted Print is a card-backed print with a cut-out window (mat or mount) that forms a border around the print itself. The mat acts as a protective layer, preventing the surface of the print from coming into direct contact with a frame’s acrylic/glass glazing. This separation is crucial to protect the artwork from potential damage caused by condensation, moisture, or sticking to the glazing over time.
The Matted Print is ready to be put into a frame of your choice. - The Sanctuary Frame Print is a classic wooden frame. For this print, we only offer a Charcoal Black frame, in 14″ x 11″ or 20″ x 16″ sizes, with a 12″ x 9″ print-size or 16″ x 12″ print-size.
The print comes with a double mount, black outer and white inner. The frame has an acrylic glaze and a black rear-cover. The frame comes with an enhanced hanging system. - The Fine Art Tray Frame combines Fine Art Pearl paper, and a Tray Frame moulding, creating the perfect luxurious product. The Fine Art Pearl paper has a textured surface which is preserved and enhanced with a protective laminate. For this product we only offer a Black frame, in 16″ x 12″ or 24″ x 18″ sizes. The frame comes with an enhanced hanging system.
- The Fine Art Float Frame combines Fine Art Cotton Smooth paper that “floats” above the back of the frame. We offer only one size for this product, a 20″ x 16″ Frame with a 16″ x 12″ print. The frame comes with an enhanced hanging system.

Made to Order by Loxley Colour
All of our Print products are made and delivered directly to our customers by Loxley Colour.

Product Specifications
Print Papers
Photographic print finishes can be quite subjective; some people like a matt style of finish, others may like a more gloss style of finish.
For every Matted Print we offer to our customers, we offer two types of paper – standard and fine art.
- For Standard papers, we use Fujicolor Professional DP II Gloss and Fujicolor Professional DP II Lustre (for a matte finish).
- For Fine Art papers, we normally use Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl 285gsm for a smooth gloss-like finish and Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm for matte-like finishes.
The Fine Art (or Giclée) papers deliver beautiful, tactile prints designed to retain tonality and last. At times, we may offer different Fine Art papers to deliver the best results for a particular image.
Here at Memories of Motion, we recommend you choose the Fine Art papers to ensure that your prints retain their quality finish for longer.
Note: The Fine Art Tray Frames and Fine Art Float Frames are only supplied with one print finish.
Matted Prints
Customers can buy two sizes of matted print:
- 14″ x 11″ mount, with a 12″ x 9″ print
- 20″ x 16″ mount, with a 16″ x 12″ print
The single mounts are 3mm thick and will be offered in a single colour to match the photographic image.
For single orders, Matted Prints are delivered using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. If multiple products are ordered and the order value rises above £75.00 then delivery will be by DPD Next Day service.
Sanctuary Framed prints
Customers can buy two sizes of Sanctuary Framed print:
- 14″ x 11″ mount, with a 12″ x 9″ print (as shown above)
- 20″ x 16″ mount, with a 16″ x 12″ print
The print comes with a double mount, black outer and white inner. The frame has an acrylic glaze and a black rear cover. The frame comes with an enhanced hanging system (shown below). This allows customers a great deal of flexibility, and includes ‘bump stops” at each corner to protect walls from scratches.
For Sanctuary Framed prints, delivery will be by DPD Next Day service.
Fine Art Tray Frame
Customers can buy two sizes of Fine Art Tray Frame print:
- 16″ x 12″ print size
- 24″ x 18″ print size
The Fine Art Tray Frame comes in a single frame colour, dependent on the photographic image. The paper used is a Fine Art Cotton paper that is then laminated to protect it from scratches.
The frame comes with the same enhanced hanging system (as in the Sanctuary Framed print above). This allows customers a great deal of flexibility, and includes ‘bump stops” at each corner to protect walls from scratches.
For Fine Art Tray Frame prints, delivery will be by DPD Next Day service.
Fine Art Float Frame
Our premium product is the Fine Art Float Frame. The 16″ x 12″ print ‘floats” above the back of the 20″ x 16″ frame. The Fine Art Cotton paper stands out against a flat background and is then set into a wooden frame. The colours used will reflect each photographic print.
These products will sometimes be offered as Limited Editions and will come with an individually numbered certificate.
The frame comes with an enhanced hanging system. This allows customers a great deal of flexibility, and includes ‘bump stops” at each corner to protect walls from scratches.
For Fine Art Float Frame prints, delivery will be by DPD Next Day service.
